About the Journal
- The European Archive for Economics and Development Research (EAEDR) publishes research from across the globe that encourages critical inquiry. It serves as a valuable resource for research and educational endeavors focused on the economic and socio-economic well-being of individuals in both developing and developed countries.
- EAEDR aims to foster collaboration among scholars with diverse backgrounds, inviting contributions from both academics and practitioners. The journal particularly welcomes submissions on themes such as: gender, social identities, and intersectionality; including gender identities, race, caste, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and age (youth and older individuals).
- Other research areas that are of interest to the journal include: indigenous development issues in both the Global South and North, environmental concerns, including resource management and biodiversity, as well as climate justice, adaptation, and resilience; social protection and vulnerability; agriculture, including subsistence farming and food systems; livelihoods, urbanization, and work; sustainable development; development and migration, addressing forced migration, labor mobility, displacement, resettlement, and remittances; household finance for development, including the social impacts of remittances and microcredit/ savings programs; conflict resolution and peace building; and communication for development, among other topics.
- All submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished. They are evaluated rigorously, and those deemed suitable for further review will be subjected to a peer review process conducted by independent, anonymous experts. EAEDR adheres to a double-anonymized review system to ensure fairness in the evaluation process.
